Do you ever shop around forever for something particular, and just when you stop looking, it’s like that “thing” is everywhere?! That happened to me with this long sleeve tee shirt. Lol, I know. It’s just a tee shirt, right! Only it’s not. I’m in the middle of transitioning my closet to more neutrals colors and articles that can layer. So, finding the right tee shirt that is flattering but also breathable and not expensive is a big deal.
I was in Nordstrom after work one day before we went to Charleston, and I saw this BP Ribbed Long Sleeve Tee shirt folded on the table. When I tried it on, I wanted to keep it on! Like in the good old days when I would go to Limited Too with my Mom, Nanny, and Aunt T. The cashiers would just take the tags off, ring them up, and I would walk out of the store as a whole kid. I hope that wasn’t just me. 🙂
Layer with a Versatile Scarf
I threw this BP Check Scarf over top as a shawl. This scarf is super versatile, so it was perfect to pack for Charleston. It’s on sale for $11.98 (50% off of what I paid). Also paired this long sleeve tee with this Just Black skirt from Apricot Lane. Wearing a size Medium. This is the first adult jean skirt I’ve ever bought. Every skirt I try on is usually too constricting, but this one was super soft, stretchy, and the buttons are so cute!
This BP Ribbed Long Sleeve Tee comes in 6 color options: 4 solids & 2 stripes. This one is the “Rust Sequoia” in a Size Medium. The fabric is stretchy, soft, and super-breathable. Right now, there’s only 1 left in that size and color! Nordstrom recommends going up a size, and I would agree.
A Note on Washing
This shirt can shrink. I threw it in the washer, air dried it a couple times, and it was fine. Then, I threw it in the drier one day like a dummy, and it shrunk up noticeably. So, follow the directions! Handwash, or at least skip the drier. 🙂
I love when BP at Nordstrom comes out with good quality long sleeve tee shirts like this one. This brand is so much more affordable than the majority of Nordstrom brands. Bravo, Nordies.
