Romper: Indah (S/M) | Wedges are old Lilly Pulitzer Similar Soludos & similar Amazon | Necklace: Nadri | Bag I forgot to shoot: JADEtribe
I wore this light pink romper for our friend’s rehearsal dinner (on valentine’s day!) the other night. It was so much fun to wear that I figured I would share it with y’all in a post! I spent a solid amount of time shopping for this trip, and ended up not liking a good majority of what I bought. That means I’ve been re-wearing a lot of the same bikinis and dresses. Is that shocking?! I mean, I still ended up with a 50lb suitcase eek. 😳
My friends will tell you that I boycotted rompers for the majority of my life. Only in the last 2 years have I slowly started accepting them. I get super self conscious about my hips & thighs, so I thought I just didn’t have the body type to pull them off. I slowly started being brave enough to wear them once I found the right style/material/brand. This light pink romper is made of strong, breathable material, and the top is cut in such a cute, sassy way! It didn’t even ride up my crack like most rompers (another reason why I used to be against them btw).
Enough about rompers, let’s talk about this resort! This place is unlike anywhere we have ever stayed!! First of all, this place is HUGE. We couldn’t check into the room when we arrived ~1pm, so we decided to walk around & find lunch. It took us an hour to find somewhere that was open lol!
Everywhere you look, there are raccoons, monkeys, toucans, peacocks, cats, and iguanas. It is so cool!! I’ve never been anywhere with this much wildlife. The resort is big on protecting animals and nature. 🙌
Hope y’all have a happy President’s Day! Thanks so much for reading!
xx, Chelsea
