In the operating room, I am not even allowed to walk into the sterile corridor (hallways where OR entrances are) without a mask, bonnet, and sterile scrubs. You have to change your mask every time you leave that corridor. It is ironic that the same people who complain about mask wearing would also complain if a surgical team member opposed the masking mandate in sterile areas. Masks do their job.
