It’s Hip to Be Square
Are you loving the womens square faced watch as much as I am?! You know as a reformed laggard, I am a lover of watches (remember this post?).
The square-faced watch was super popular in the art deco era of 1920s and ’30s. Thanks to our friends Marilyn Monroe, John F. Kennedy, and Steve McQueen, the style had a comeback in the 1960s.
Celebs & Their Square-Faced Watches
These celebrities all love a womens square faced watch with prices ranging from the hundreds to over $25,000!
My Square-Faced Watch Under $100
My new watch will not cost you an arm and a leg. In fact, it is less than $100 with the current promotion plus my discount code “chelseaadamsblog15”. The style I am wearing is “The Charlie“. The watch face is 24 mm, and you have the option to choose gold or silver, white, black, or blue watch face.
This style is timeless and a beautiful gift for the lady in your life or even yourself for that matter. I’ve bought MVMT watches and straps for Mike and it is a great quality company for the price. The mens watches have interchangeable straps but not in the tacky way you might be thinking.
Luckily, I didn’t need to have the watch resized. However, the watch comes beautifully packaged in a velvet case with extra gold links.
The bracelet is the MVMT Gold Crown Cuff.
Goals: The Michele Art Deco
I am surprised that none of the celebrities or fauxlebrities I looked up sported the Michele Art Deco series. I mean, have you seen it? At one point in my life I owned a Michele watch. It was the Sydney Chronograph. It was a gift, but I took it back the next day because I felt sick from how much money it was! I ended up getting the Olivia Burton Two-Toned Bracelet Watch and for $75, it might be the best dupe I’ve ever scored!
One day when I achieve something magnificent, I hope to own a Michele watch, but for now, I’m living in my glory with everything I have been so blessed with and that includes my new addition…”The Charlie”!
Thanks for reading! If you followed along on my Instagram stories last night…you know I was up in the gym doing two workouts today to pay for the catering at the Nest fashion show. It was a blast, but oh my goodness that macaroon spread!!
Hope you have a wonderful weekend!
xx,
Chels
